If your low-voltage gel (AGM) or lead-acid battery is at your disposal, then you need to stock up on the most reliable and everyday ones, so that you don’t end up buying two or three times more expensive.
The capacity and type of battery can greatly affect the performance of a gas boiler, TV, refrigerator and other electrical appliances such as a backup device.
What is important to know:
• Gel, lead-acid, AGM batteries are cheaper, but if they are processed according to the manufacturer's stated number of charge-discharge cycles, they can only be discharged by half (50%). The current term for robots will change greatly. Also, these types of batteries are charged 2-3 times faster than lithium phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries.
• Lithium phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are more expensive for gel batteries, so the buyer takes a lot more money for that, less difference in price.
And the same: new generation LiFePO4 batteries have high efficiency (up to 94%). These batteries can be operated with a deep discharge (up to 80%) without changing the service life, which means that you can use the light longer.
• older lead-acid LiFePO4 batteries have a longer service life of 8-10 times, with the smell being 2 times lighter than lead-acid batteries, resulting in high emissions
• this type of battery is not self-priming and non-toxic
• LiFePO4 batteries have an even low self-discharge (20% capacity when saving over 10 batteries).
• a clear BMS has been installed that protects them from overcharging, deep discharge, overflow along the circuit and short circuit, with a miraculous energy output of 1C (with a short-hour peak of 2C) and charging 0.5C max
• Kepworth batteries are environmentally friendly and safe: powered by 100% safe, non-toxic, renewable energy, they can be charged and discharged multiple times, more than anything else (recharge the battery from zero possible in just 2 years!)
